I would like to submit an idea that could be very interesting for the members of SwissBorg and allow you to stand out from the competition even more. This initiative could also transform the life of one or more of your members.

The idea is to offer financial assistance to a member in need. This person will have to explain to you why they deserve to be selected. For example, it could be because of a fire, like the one that hit my family and me, leaving us in an extremely difficult situation without a fixed roof and forcing us to ask for help to feed ourselves.

This could also apply to a sick person requiring special treatment or other urgent situations. Interested members should submit their application, which you could review and approve. Once approved, the application would be presented to all members and put to a vote.

The winning request could benefit from a percentage of transactions or a fixed amount per transaction over a period of three months. This would allow four members per year to receive life-changing financial assistance. Of course, this is just an idea that came to me because of my current situation. (the loss of our house a fire that destroyed everything so we are home with 2 young children)
I think mutual aid is something that’s sorely lacking in 2024. It has become easier to stand up to each other than to help each other.
