I hope you’re well. It is with great humility that I write to you today. I never thought I’d have to ask for help, but the events push my wife, our two young children (2 years and 1 year) and me to appeal to your generosity. On August 2, our house was ravaged by a fire, leaving us homeless overnight. As if that wasn’t enough, our store, our only source of income, was also destroyed by the flames.
We therefore find ourselves destitute, without housing or means to support ourselves, waiting for the intervention of our insurance, which unfortunately seems to take a long time.
They tell us that they are overwhelmed by the many disasters of the last few months and are still investigating our situation. In the meantime, we have not received any help from them. It is in this difficult context that we have created a GoFundMe campaign. Every donation, whether it’s $1, $20 or more, would be a huge help to our family in these times of trial.
