Datasharing with Mixpanel: DATABREACH#1403

?

STOP USERDATA SHARING with third parties!

I am deeply disturbed that Swissborg shares sensitiv Information like e-mail address, date of birth, city and country of birth, onboarding questions about the users investing profile (net worth??) with third parties outside of Switzerland!

I am very disappointed.

+++ I second that.

The best way to avoid suffering from a data leak is to NOT MAKE THE DATA AVAILABLE.
With the current trend of kidnapping people to ransom crypto holders it is absolutely no longer possible to share any identifying data to anyone.

For what reason does a third party need my name, my postal address, my phone number or my email? Everything that is shared to third parties must be pseudonymized, no exceptions; if they need to send me a communication, let them do throgh a Swissborg API that will not expose my name and coordinates.

Reducing the amount of data shared to the absolute minimum needed and putting in place technical measures to protect them is a REGULATORY obligation under GDPR, and you have failed at that. You bear full legal responsability even if the hack was against Mixpanel.

I expect you to understand the gravity of the breach and the loss of confidence in the platform that goes with it, and make announcements regarding what measures will be put in place to make sure this can never ever happend again.
